The class of 91 got together Saturday for the long awaited 20 year reunion, stories were told and friends lost over time were brought back together for a night of fun and memories. As they caught up on old times and talked about the days present it was as if they were never apart. Its always nice to see old friends. Sevendust joined by the #1 Rock band in the country “Atelinas Way” tour the house down in front of a sold out crowd, people lined up for hours just to get a spot on the floor. The bands were the greatest show on earth SORRY BARNUM, but this week The Station had you trumped. They took the stage in a quite, collected movemeant…. The drum started, the bass kicked in and all hell broke loose, the fans MOSHED the ladies drooled and the floor shook. I have to say that this one was for the books. It was the 2ns Annual “All White Party” in Morgan City,LA this weekend. With everyone dressed to the T, it was hard to find anyone in which the word “FLY” didnt apply to. The ladies were oh so beautiful and the fellas, well BLING, BLING. Battery the world famous hard rockin, show stoppin Metallica tribute band took the stage Friday night to a quite the crowd. It was the best mix of the hard stuff that put them on the map, and some newer stuff that still rocked your socks off. You know you’re one hell of a tribute band when you’re personally endorsed by the band themselves. All I know is that you were standing outside you would bet your next pay check that James was in there on the mic…lol

Saturday The Station and 105.1 brought quite the rock show to the Acadiana Area once again… With Carrion, White Light Cememtery and Southern Whiskey Rebellion rockin the house it was a night to remember and that it was. It was a pre 4th of July party setting of the holiday week with sun, fun and Live music…. The residants enjoyed FREE pizza compliments of Domino’s Pizza. The sun was out the ladies were beautiful and the fun just didnt stop. We will be starting to have a Sunday Funday pool party every Sunday (coming soon) so invite your friends and lets get these units filled for next simester. It very rare for the guys of Spank the Monkey to play a spot in Lafayette, but as usual The Station got them to stop in for a one time, one night show…. It has the set list from hell, wether you’re a fan of TOOL or enjoy the soft sounds of Filter’s “Hay man nice shot” your ears were in for a treat.
